The American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) and the White House have partnered to produce continuing education webinars for all nurses to address the epidemic of opioid use and overdose in the U.S.
Three webinars are available on the APNA website for continuing nursing education contact hours at no cost: (1) A webinar for RNs working in any setting to gain knowledge to enhance their patient care (1.25 contact hours); (2) A webinar for Psych-Mental Health RNs that includes information specific to the scope and standards of P/MH nursing (1.25 contact hours); and (3) A webinar for APRNs that provides knowledge and strategies for identifying and selecting pharmacologic and psychotherapeutic treatment options (3.50 Rx contact hours). TOTAL CE is 6.0 if you complete all three webinars. ANCC Accredited.
