The Las Vegas massacre on October 1, 2017 is a horror of a magnitude that is unprecedented in the U.S. NAPNA extends our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives and those who were injured. Thank you to all the health care professionals in Las Vegas who without hesitation stepped up to the plate to save lives and ease the suffering caused by this tragedy.
We appreciate our APRN colleagues who have reached out in support, such as the Nevada chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the New Mexico Nurse Practitioner Council.
The aftermath of this event will continue to resonate. Thank you to all APRNs and health care providers in Las Vegas and other affected areas who continue to provide vital medical and mental health services.
