Hello NAPNA Members-
Wow! We had another wonderful and accomplished legislative session this year!!!
Now that the legislative session has come to an end, we wanted to take a moment to share with you NAPNAs involvement in the legialative process and our role in advocating for all APRNs. Please see the attached two documents summarizing the work NAPNA did on your behalf during this busy legislative session, and feel free to reach out to Dr. Pitlock, Sarah Adler, myself, or any Board members with any questions you might have.
If I may ask, please take a moment to send a brief message thanking Sarah Adler and Silver State Goverment Relations for all of their hard work on behalf NAPNA and all APRNs across the state. Her email is sarah@ssgr.us She and her team have been phenomenal to work with and really have represented NAPNA well.
Lastly, please remember to keep your membership active, renew your membership if you let it lapse, invite your colleagues to join the organization, and help NAPNA continue to grow! Although the legislative session has ended this year, a lot of work takes place in between sessions including identifying problems, communicating with stakeholders, building relationships, and creating alliances. Remember, during each legislative session, our strength is supported by our numbers, so each member we have makes a tremendous impact on our voice.
Thank you to those of you that were called on for advice, testimony, research, and other activities during the session!
Regards,
Dr. Cameron Duncan DNP, MS, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
