Nevada Medicaid Update

Hello everyone-

DHCFP (State Medicaid) held a hearing this morning and made an amendment to Chapter 1500, the Healthy Kids Program, that allows for billing of a sick visit and a well child visit at the same time for the same patient.  APRNs are approved providers of these services.  Effective date is 12/28/22.  

This is excellent news because it increases access to much needed preventative care and increases opportunities for reimbursement for the services we already provide!!!

Please remember, the legislative session is quickly approaching, and we are stronger in number. Please renew your membership and ask all of your colleagues to join.
