82nd Legislative Session Summary

Hello NAPNA Membership and Supporters-

We had great success this legislative term, and we need to continue our advocacy to support the profession of nursing and the role of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses. When major decisions are on the table, our strength is in numbers. Please continue your membership with NAPNA and help us all to recruit additional APRN members so we can continue to make positive change in Nevada and beyond.

The Board wants to send a special thank you to our Legislative Advocacy Team consisting of many of your colleagues were very supportive during this legislative session, speaking with legislators and other decision makers, and sending written support or opposition letters to representatives. This team really strengthened the voice of NAPNA.

Lastly, the Board also wants to send a special thank you to Sarah Adler, our lobbyist, for all her hard work and dedication to our organization. She has been tremendous to work with because she truly has the well-being of all Nevadans at the forefront of every interaction she has. Thank you, Sarah!
